In these uncertain economic times, the business atmosphere is changing like never before. How you do business has most certainly changed, as has it for us here at Superior Horse Talk magazine. In September, 2008 we made the decision to go strictly ONLINE with Superior Horse Talk magazine. After 13 years of publishing the magazine in print, this was not a decision we made lightly, but we do believe it was the right decision for the times.
Publishing completely online has allowed us to go to publishing a new magazine EVERY month rather than every other month as in the past. It also allows us to publish much more complete club news, competition results, and update area events and classified ads more frequently. Of course we have continued our popular features like FREE classifieds ads for private individuals and FREE Coming Events. We have seen readership numbers increase quite significantly since going online. Our readers greatly appreciate receiving the magazine online, FREE and 12 times per year. A direct link to the new magazine is emailed out to an extensive (and growing) email list of horsemen and horsewomen in our readership area each month when the new issue is uploaded.
Online publishing has saved us considerable money in printing expenses, i.e. paper, ink, wages, postage and shipping. We are now able to pass these savings on to our advertisers. Please review our advertising prices on the next page. Many of our ad prices have been reduced by up to 50% or more. In addition, ALL ADS can now be published in COLOR at the old black and white prices. And of course, for our advertisers who have long term advertising contracts, your ads will now be seen in 12 different issues per year, rather than 6 issues per year as of old. Most of these long term contract prices are even lower than before, despite doubling the number of issues they are seen in. Your ads will also be seen on a minimum of at least two pages within each new issue, the current issue page with all current articles and at least one other page directly connected to your ad (Pages for Current Showbills, Horse Related Businesses, Stables, Stallions, etc.) Pages for archived articles from past issues will be posted online minus the ads. Of course all current ads will be seen in the new issue each month.
While everyone is no doubt looking to cut costs these days, don’t make the mistake of cutting your advertising to your local area. Present and future customers are going to be looking for great deals too, and Superior Horse Talk magazine is one of the best ways to reach horsemen and horsewomen in the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin who are looking for the horses, stallions, supplies, tack and equipment that you offer.

NO charge for photos included in ad. CLEAR, uncluttered photos recommended. Send ONLY original photos or computer copies in PHOTO QUALITY on PHOTO PAPER for good reproduction. We cannot guarantee quality if copies of photos are sent. Ads and Photos may be emailed in jpeg or bmp formats. (jpeg preferred) DO NOT SEND PHOTOS THAT ARE HUGE FILES. REDUCE SIZE TO MAKE A SMALLER FILE. Ads may also be emailed or sent on CD in Microsoft Word, pdf files , or jpeg files.
